At Bay Angels, we receive a high volume of monthly submissions. We cannot guarantee that you will hear back. If we are highly interested, you will hear back in a timely manner.

Please only re-submit if substantial changes to your company have been made. If you are a fast-growing startup, we recommend submitting every 6 months, as this allows enough time for traction to take place. If we feel “spamming” is occurring, we will decline to work with your company. 

Not to worry, you will receive support from our members. Before any presentation to the group, a group of members will assist and give you feedback. With this feedback, you will have ample preparation prior to your presentation.

Each individual listed on the website is an existing member. After making a connection to an individual, you will have the opportunity to receive a warm intro to any existing member. Additionally, there is a LinkedIn group.

You’re an accredited investor if you meet at least one of these qualifications:

• you have an individual or joint net worth more than $1M (this excludes the value of your primary residence)
• you’ve had $200,000 income in each of the last two (2) years
• you’ve had $300,000 joint income in each of the last two (2) years
• your professional certification qualifies you as an accredited investor
• you’re a Director or Executive Officer of the Fund’s General Partner
• you’re a knowledgeable employee of the private fund or its managers (this includes employees, executive directors, directors, trustees, and advisory board members. You must have at least 12 months tenure in this role)

If you’re an entity, you must meet at least one of these qualifications:

• each equity owner of your entity is an accredited investor
• your entity has total assets worth more than $5M
• you’re a “family office” with $5M+ assets under management (AUM)
• you’re an Investment Advisor
• you’re an Exempt Investment Adviser
• you’re a private business development company
• you’re an investment company or a business development company
• you’re a Small Business Investment Company

Typically, an event occurs every month. These include both stand alone events, and partner events. Some will be open to the public, others will just be for Bay Angel members.
